Those should turn Art on... I am restoring a M189 engine at the moment and pics of them are always of interest to me.

What the heck, try to stuff a MB 6.9 liter V8 in it. What a machine that would be..

Almost 10 M100 members will be in Essen; more than half from outside the US. And MB is always very gracious to us in their stand. It is definitely worth a trip if you can steal a few days early next month!

Have a schnitzel for me, or a free Bratwurst at the M-B stand.
Looking forward to running into you there Gerrett, I'll be there as usual together with about 150 UK Club members.

I realize this is a bit late for plans, but several M100 members will be attending Techno Classica in Essen, Germany, March 31 to April 3. If you can make last minute plans, or are somewhat local to the Messe in Essen, I would love to meet up with you and buy you a beer (a shock to many who know me, I'm sure).

If you are not familiar with Techno Classica, it is the world's best new car auto show, classic car exhibition and "flea" market. 100,000 sq. meters and 12+ buildings and courtyards to wander through, buy those pesky fuses you can't find locally, and add cars to your wish list.

Oh, and did I mention that you can get a REAL beer about every 100 feet?
