Tires, Brakes and Suspension

W126 HPF shop manual
Author Last Post
I still have one extra copy of the W126 HPF manual (Bestell-Nr 6510101700 Mai 1981).

I ordered 5 suspension spheres from Germany, all Febi-Bilstein, hopefully new stock [:)] . Plus a lot of service kits and parts like hoses etc. Still one more order to be done at AutoHausAZ.

I washed my project car for the first time, probably it has been washed last time a year ago [:p]

Suspension is hard, that is why I am going to replace all spheres.

What the heck, try to stuff a MB 6.9 liter V8 in it. What a machine that would be..

Hi Ron! I have a set of four extra ones but they all have some scratches. I will have a proper look at those tomorrow and take some pics if they seem to be good enough.

I have a good set of hubcaps for my new car and also a set of W126 steel rims 15" size [8D] .

Hi Ryan! I know this is not the right place to sell the books but I thought I should collect all the extra books from the guy. His father worked for MB dealer and had a huge library at home. I am not sure if I have your email address any more so you could pm me.

I will have the books latest in the end of March on the way back home from a flight from Essen Techno Classica Trip.

Some OT: I will go to Helsinki area next Tuesday but my day will be busy picking up a set of W126 15" steel rims from one source and a set of 15" lang/ambulance hubcaps from another source [:)]

I am interested in the W116 ABS manual.

The books will be picked up tomorrow. The seller had another copy of W126 HPF manual in German language.

As well I bought another W116 ABS brake shop manual:

Five (5)sections:
1 – Structure and principle operation
2 – Repair procedures
3 – Test program
4 – Wiring diagram
Osa 5 – Spare parts catalogue

October 1978, original issue, good condition, 54 pages, size A4

So I have two extra books that I could sell. One W126 HPF and one W116 ABS brake manual.

I had access to such a book, in Finnish language, original MB dealer copy issued May 1981. It has 71 pages and it covers the differences from 116.036 up tp W126 models. It has 3 sections; structure, checking and maintenance.

Will this be useful when working on a 6.9?
