Thank you very much.So l was wrong...l had the impression that all 6.9 were dressed with burlwood like all the top of the line S Class cars. 560SEL and as my 600SEL. Thank you very much.

Here is the info on dash trim that I researched a while back.
Zebrano would be correct on a 1976.
Here is a copy of the info I posted a few years ago:
From start of production to chassis 000546 (sometime in 1976): All cars got a black console insert around the shifter. Dash wood was brown tinted Zebrano on all color interiors except Blue. Blue interior got a reddish tinted Zebrano on the dash.
From chassis 000547 (1976) up to 002261 (1977): Still a black console insert (no wood yet) All color interiors got a Caucasian Walnut Zebrano on the dash.
From chassis 002262 up to end of production: All 6.9's received Knotted (burled) Walnut on the dash as well as the console trim panel.
