The DIN number for wave spring washers is 137. Most nut and bolt places should have stock in various diameters. The M-B standard parts DIN list describes two types, A for "slotted" screws descibed as "convex" and B for hexagon screws and nuts described as "waved". The type you describe is the latter.
M-B seem to always describe what I would call a "bolt" as a "screw". They still supply a lot of them using the part numbers from the catalogues, but the unit price will be a lot more than you would expect to pay buying in bulk from a commercial supplier. Art

Our cars use wave type spring washers all over the place, especially on the engine. The most common are M6 and M8 metric, but larger sizes are also used in some locations.
I presume these are standard DIN items, and surely it must be possible to purchase bulk quantities of new ones, even if they are not yellow passivated?
Any ideas on DIN numbers, or where I can purchase?
Thanks
