We have some progress, 2 member written articles, a great wrap up of Lodefest 2016 in Portland and a 6.9 tech article. We also have another installment in Brian Fogerty's superb restoration series on its way to us, as well as Mike Morris's promised article as above [:p] (sorry mate)

Another article from a member and we can roll the presses...

As I said, it's up to you now.

If we are to get an issue out before Christmas we really need to have the presses rolling third week of November LATEST.

One thing we really need is a wrap up of the Portland meet, just the copy will do as Betsy has access to the images Mike Spicer made so we can add those.

There is some momentum gathering behind the scenes to make this happen so come on people, write stuff!

After thinking long and hard, and some clever persuasion and presumption by our President, Francis, I'm back as your Editor with the invaluable help of Betsy who will take the reins with graphics and layout.

Betsy has extensive experience in graphic design and will take the polish and presentation of Lodestar to new levels, a colleague of Chris Liscomb, Betsy has been very enthusiastic and helpful in our setting up communications so we have a common platform half a world from each other to work from putting each new issue together.

So, why is it now up to you?

Content, that is why.

At as today, I have a few articles I've downloaded from the Daimler Media center, this email which I'll use as my Editors report and access to a few photos taken by a non member on flicker but that's it.

Betsy and I are fired up to have a 40 page glossy mag in your letterbox by mid December so you have something to read over the Holidays, lets all pull together and get the presses rolling.

We need member based articles on current, past and future projects. We all love to read what each other are up to so now is the time to share so we can enjoy each others adventures. No matter how big or small, we would love to hear about it and never forget, new members haven't heard the stories before so don't think your information or recounts are not valid; we were all beginners once. Don't feel it needs to be polished or pretty, thats Betsy's job. An email of text with attached images is great.
