Maybe my imagination, I thought Jim was putting something together in Grants Pass. I will help in any way I can.

Back out here so soon? I kind of figured that it was an annual rotation: NW, NE, SE, SW... I certainly wouldn't complain. A trip to Grant's Pass is far more feasible for me than Florida.

Matt: Location of each Lode Fest depends mostly on who volunteers to host the convention. As a result we do get to see some fabulous places all over the country and the world.

It is Grants Pass, OR hosted by Jim Hendershot. I'm sure details will follow after the New Year when ready. 2019 is still up for grabs but we've tossed around some ideas.

Jim Hendershot has set the date for Lode Fest 2018 as Labor Day weekend in Grants Pass, Oregon. That is Thursday, August 30 through Sunday, September 2 or an optional day Monday. September 3. The host hotel is the Weasku Inn on the Rogue River. I have stayed there and it is perfect for this event but reservations are limited. We have a special rate so mention the M-100 Group.
DATES: 8/30/18 to 9/02 (Option Mon 9/03)
WEASKU INN: (541) 471 - 8000. See website: www.weasku.com.
Administrator: Please Jim's brochure on the home page.

Hello everyone!
Sorry that it's taking so long to get the word out on the next LodeFest. For the time being, if anyone wants more details, send me a private e-mail and I will forward the information I have already put together. Write me at jim at radiodesign dot com, and I'll send you a pdf with the basics.
This should be a really fun LodeFest. I've got some cool driving locations lined up, including a trip to Crater Lake National Park. If you have not seen Crater Lake, let me simply say that you will have a hard time believing your eyes. The pictures don't do it justice. There will also be a public display of the M-100 cars at one of the local wineries, and since this is happening on Labor Day weekend, we're expecting a large turnout. More fun details are coming, and I'll try to keep everyone posted as things evolve.
Again, sorry for the delays. We'll get our act together soon! Thanks to all for the positive comments so far. See you at the LodeFest!
Cheeers!

I hope the Company will send me this year. Last year there were so many schedule conflicts. My vacation was one of them...

A quick update for those who have been registering with the Weasku Inn...
There was some confusion on their part about the dates. That should now be resolved. If you cannot book the correct dates, drop me a note, jim at radio design dot com.
Thanks!

Jim

Might be time to fire up "The Great Grants Pass Adventure". Spoke to MM today ( via relay gal...he was under a car....who knew? ), said he is also driving up to the event. Almost a "Wolf pack". Also spoke with Kip, he is going to be caravanning with us on the way back ( he is going up early to enjoy the coastal route....I want his job ).Jack?

We have Brian G. green 6.3 in here this week for a/c --his car is going up for sale as he is giving up the garage that has housed this for many many years -so do not expect him to make the trip.
