Hello All!
For those of you who were at last year's LodeFest, this may sound familiar...
The Portland Section of the MBCA (which includes all of Oregon, by the way) will be hosting a Crater Lake drive event on the 21st of June. All MBCA members, no matter which section, are invited.
We will have an opening reception on the evening of the 20th at my house, starting at 6 PM. Friday will be the drive, with arrangements being made for lunch and dinner, to be announced.
Saturday is not yet scheduled, but we are working on a possibility of a tour of a car collection locally.
For details, drop me a note at jim at radiodesign dot com. There are a limited number of rooms set aside at the Best Western in Rogue River (sorry, couldn't get the Weasku Inn, they're already booked solid). They are being held until the end of May. After that, first come, first served. Write me for details.
I'd love to see some M-100 cars at this event! Let me know if you can make it!
Thanks,
Jim

An update on the Crater Lake MBCA event, scheduled for next week:
Thursday evening will start with a reception at my house.
Friday morning, we will head out to Crater Lake, with a lunch stop at Lake of the Woods. Dinner will be at Schoolhaus Brewhaus in Jacksonville.
And now, ta-da! Saturday morning we will have a tour of Blue Nelson's car collection in Gold Hill, which includes the famous beat-up old Mercedes diesel featured in a recent article in the Star.
If you are interested in tagging along, let me know!
Best Regards,
Jim
