Thanks Paul - I found the VIN in the list under 1970. The person looking for the car thought it was a 1963/4 build. Is there anything more that the Forum has on the origins or whereabouts of the listed vehicles?

Thanks

Steve

Thanks - will do both

See in the first page, if that Vin is in the listing already ..

You can always send me the Vin to see if I have further Info's .... : vonschwartzenberg att ziggo.nl ....

Hello Paul

I have recently re-joined this list a after a few yrs away from it. I am the technical officer of the MB club in Queensland, Australia - the same club that Art Love was in. I have a member looking for his father's 600 and wondered if you could tell me who I can send the VIN number to in the Forum to see if it is in the 600 register.

Thanks

Steve

I have only the datacard not the belonging productionpage I.
Hi Paul.
I see you already have my car, #154 on your register. You have a star next to it denoting that you have a copy of the data card. Do you have both the standard card and the extra sheet showing the additional items specified originally? I have the former, but not the latter.
Regards
Barry

Thanks for the link.
That car is already in our registery.
Paul, not sure if you have this Landaulet in the registry, and I have no VIN at this time, but here is a post which refers to this one in South Africa having been saved and currently on display in the Franschhhoek Motor Museum in South Africa, this one was used by old State Presidents in South Africa:

That is 100.014-12-001811 an ex Hughe Heffner car and went later to Germany …

a rare model like that must have cost a fortune to put in the extra axle, and what good would it do would have self levelling, unless they were putting about 10 V8 engines in the trunk, [:)]

just one 600 is enough at the moment, [now it's got to two]

hi paul, these sound like the cars that marc was getting when i was last there about 18 months ago, i am surprised to hear of this as you would need a large team, and transport to move them
